Selection from old vines from the Dhroner Hofberg and fruit from the Saar (25%). Few grams of residual sweetness and singing acidity, finesse and tension. A cabinet as they are only made in the Moselle. CAI stands for Carl August Immich the founder of the winery, who, according to tradition, blew up the rocks with a cannon, or more accurately dynamite, for expansion of viticulture. After a down period in the 20th century, the company was restored by two friends in 2007. They saw the potential of the winery and especially the vineyards and contacted winemaker Gernot Kollman. The first wine in 2009 hit like a bomb, like dynamite. And now Immich-Batterieberg is one of the leading Moselle producers.
