Nothing much happens in the cellars of Erich Machherndl in Wösendorf, since the work is done in the vineyards. Harvest is done by hand and the production methods are biological. All wines receive skin maceration. All wines are fermented with native cellar or grape own yeasts. The majority of the cuvee's are unfiltered. Use of sulphites is limited to a bare minimum, and the Pulp Fiction cuvees receive no sulphite whatsoever.
