Skin-macerated Roter Traminer from Germany’s Baden region. A mutation of the Savagnin grape known from the Jura, Roter Traminer is mostly grown in Alsace and in the small village of Durbach in Baden. The vines grow on one of the family's oldest plots on terraces, in granite-rich soil. This small-batch wine is spontaneously fermented, without added sulphites, and isn't fined nor filtered. It is a gorgeous and pure wine with tons of floral and tropical notes, with a fair dose of wildness.
